Digitalization in Nuclear

Rapid development of digitalization boosts efficiency of power plant maintenance, engineering and personnel training. Our goal is to better utilize the opportunities, new technologies and internal innovations presented by digitalization. The rapid development of digitalization also enables improvement to power plant operating and maintenance processes.

Digitalization

Nuclear in a digital age

As a result, we have constantly driven ourselves to develop digital solutions to reduce associated costs at our own nuclear power plants. Our augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) applications such as Interactive 360° videos and VR Control Room Simulators have been utilized to deliver cost-efficiency, safety and productivity in project management, engineering, design, maintenance & operations.

The use cases of these digital solutions are extensive; ranging from providing effective control room design to cost-efficient personnel training. We deliver fast, full-scale functional VR training simulators to provide flexible and scalable training for safe and efficient NPP operations. Our interactive 360 videos are used at operating plants, during outages in engineering and in various projects.

Interactive 360° videos

We are a pioneer in the use of 360° videos at Nuclear Power Plants. These immersive, spherical videos have been utilized to enhance understanding, collaboration and efficiency among NPP personnel. There is 0 dose as maintenance staffs, engineers and contractors can visit and collaborate in restricted areas virtually.

VR Simulators

Do you need to improve your control room or training simulator? Are your training simulators congested? Do you have the need for more wide and diverse training? VR simulators can be utilized at 1/10 of the cost of a similar, full scope & scale control room simulators.
