River system Klarälven

Höljes power plant is the northernmost and biggest of our 23 power plants at Klarälven. To concentrate the 88 m height drop the power station has been blasted down into the rock. The water is led to the turbines through supply pipes. By regulating Höljes' reservoir, the water flow in the river can be increased during the period of the year when it would naturally be low.
